I'm DJ Joules! I formed Oxygen Discos 14 years ago, after initially being a 'bedroom DJ', then working part-time in clubs and bars for years.   I was at a point where I was disillusioned with working within what I felt to be the more-and-more bland, corporate world of IT, (that and a mild, midlife crisis!); and I knew had to try something else.  

Love of music, parties and Dj'ing paid off surprisingly well when I set off alone, into the unknown and with a steep learning curve ahead.  On my continuing journey I have met some amazing, influential people, and was lucky enough to be mentored by some hugely experienced DJ's, developing my own mixing and presentation style along the way.

Since those early days, I have played at some amazing venues, parties, and weddings, and now offer mentoring to up-and-coming DJ's myself.  If you're looking for a friendly, laid back DJ, who knows it's his job to provide exactly what you are looking for, then I know can help.

As a full time business, we are able to dedicate our time to your needs; and we also have to work with other DJ's.  We've hand-picked a small selection of carefully chosen people, who share our passion for providing quality entertainment.  Beware of those who scoop up bookings, then outsource on a first-come, first-served basis, paying them a small percentage of the original booking fee.
